Hi! My first thought was, women experience pregnancy and birth. That takes incredible courage. To be the most out of control that one can be of your body, and to endure the physical discomforts is a huge undertaking.

I like to consider feminine and masculine examples of courage. The courage to undertake physical challenges is one thing, but there's also the courage to have a difficult conversation, the courage to love and be loved, the courage to try again after a setback, the courage to have faith even in dark days, the courage to admit when one was wrong...

I like the idea of exercising our courage muscles across all areas of our being.
