I’m not sure if that’s truth or a stereotype. It’s common for teens to talk about making a difference when they’re choosing a course of study, but then they’re often talked out of it by parents and counselors. Making a positive impact on the world seems to be a strong theme among millenials and Gen Z as well. The desire is there, but we don’t all act on it. Thanks for that thoughtful question!
